After not participating in practice earlier this week, Steelers fans will be happy to know that both Ben Roethlisberger and T.J. Watt were limited participants in practice Thursday.

Ben Roethlisberger Injury Update

Roethlisberger is dealing with a pectoral injury, while Watt is nursing a groin injury. Arguably the Steelers most important players on their respective sides of the ball, getting these two guys healthy and back on the field is crucial to any success Pittsburgh expects to have.

T.J. Watt Injury Update

Watt is fresh off a massive contract extension which made him the highest paid defensive player in the NFL, and it's well deserved. Watt has been a monster for the Steelers, putting 43.5 combined sacks over the last three seasons, leading the NFL with 15.0 sacks last season. He already has 3.0 through 2 games in 2021 as well.

Clearly Pittsburgh is also dealing with a few other injuries, but it is at least a step in the right direction to see their two most important players working their way back on to the field.

Pittsburgh is currently a 3-point home favorite against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
