Spencer Rattler Opens as Early Favorite in 2021 Heisman Trophy Odds

With Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith taking home the 2020 Hesiman Trophy award, oddsmakers are already looking ahead to 2021.

In the opening 2021 Heisman odds, Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler has been pegged as the early frontrunner. Rattler is listed at +500 to win the award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's Heisman odds.

Rattler took over as Oklahoma's starter in 2020, totaling 3,031 yards and 28 passing touchdowns, and adding another six scores on the ground. He helped lead the Sooners to a win over the No. 7 Florida Gators in the Cotton Bowl with 287 yards from scrimmage and 4 total TDs.

Rattler is followed by Georgia redshirt junior quarterback JT Daniels (+800) and Clemson sophomore QB DJ Uiagalelei (+1000) in the top three.
