Saints Could Reunite Derek Carr With Former Wide Receiver
The New Orleans Saints are going through a roster transformation this offseason, and the biggest change is at the most important position, signing Derek Carr to be their new starter.
Now that Carr is in house, New Orleans is looking to upgrade its offense even further. After adding Jamaal Williams, the Saints are now reportedly interested in Bryan Edwards.
Edwards was acquired by the Falcons via trade and played in Atlanta last season, but was almost non-existent, being limited to just seven games.
An Edwards breakout campaign has been long-awaited and predicted by many, but it has never come to fruition. He did have his best season of his career with Carr in 2021, grabbing 34 catches for 571 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Saints are hoping the two can replicate and build upon that success in New Orelans, if the team decides to bring Edwards in.
