Phillip Lindsay Injury Update Downgrades Melvin Gordon Fantasy Outlook

It's been one thing after another for the Denver Broncos running back room this season, but ahead of their Week 8 game with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos actually might have both of their top-two backs.
Broncos’ RB Phillip Lindsay, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a concussion, is expected to play against the Chargers, per source.

Phillip Lindsay has been questionable for most of the week, but now it looks as if the running back will likely play today.
Melvin Gordon Fantasy Outlook
After a recent DUI, the future was uncertain for Gordon, but so far the Broncos star has only missed one game, and it was due to an illness, not the off-field incident. This week he was set up to be the feature back in Denver, but Lindsay's probable return could interfere with his touches.
Gordon should still be in line for a decent workload, but the major question is how many snaps Lindsay will steal. Lindsay has been the more efficient back of the two recently, turning 32 carries into 180 rushing yards over his last two games, despite only playing 14 snaps in Week 7 after leaving with a concussion.
Gordon has been a solid RB2 this season. He has had 65-plus rush yards in every game this year aside from one, with 4 touchdowns in five appearances. With Lindsay set to return, Gordon will likely be more of an RB3 or FLEX option in Week 8.
