The Philadelphia Phillies are officially headed back to the postseason, and after Tuesday's results, their matchup for the Wild Card round is set. The 6-seed Phillies will travel to face the 3-seed St. Louis Cardinals in a best-of-three series for the chance to move on to the Divisional Round.

With their playoff path determined, manager Rob Thomson has revealed his official starting rotation to begin the postseason.

Thomson has named Zack Wheeler has the Game 1 starter in St. Louis. Philadelphia will then turn to Aaron Nola on Saturday, and Ranger Suarez gets the nod if this series needs a Game 3.

This rotation is far from a surprise given how key these three players have been to the Phillies' postseason return. Wheeler owns the best record of the three, going 12-7 over 26 starts while recording a 2.89 ERA and 163 strikeouts. Nola, meanwhile, has gone 11-13 but leads the team 18 quality starts and 235 K's.

Suarez rounds this initial rotation out after going 10-7 in 29 starts with a 3.65 EA and 129 strikeouts.

Wheeler will take the mound on Friday to kick things off and potentially steal the opening game. His Cardinals counterpart has not been revealed yet.

World Series odds on FanDuel Sportsbook peg the Phillies as long shots at +3000 to win the championship.
