The PGA Championship is here, representing the first major of the 2020 season, and it's a welcome sight as the sports world continues to work its way back from the coronavirus pandemic. The event is also a big one for sports bettors, as FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a huge number of different ways to bet on the tournament.

As of Wednesday afternoon, two golfers in particular have been getting a lot of love on FanDuel Sportsbook: Tiger Woods, who has the most bets to win of any golfer, and Brooks Koepka, who has the highest dollar amount on bets to win.

It's not exactly surprising to see a fan-favorite like Tiger get so much love, but it might be telling to examine the differences in the top lists for most bets place and highest amount of money wagered (handle).

While Woods has the most bets, he's only fifth in handle, while Koepka is first in handle despite being third in number of bets.

Some of this is driven by a huge $10k bet that was placed on Koepka — the biggest bet placed on FanDuel Sportsbook for the entire tournament.

Interestingly, in addition to being popular with fans, Woods also appears to be popular with detractors. A whopping 69 percent of all the bets in the "To Miss the Cut" market have been placed on Woods.

The PGA Championship is shaping up to be one of the most fun events of the year — for golf fans and sports bettors alike.
