College football bowl season is finally here. One intriguing matchup this year is the Peach Bowl, which will pit the No. 12 Pittsburgh Panthers against the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans.

The 2021 Peach Bowl will take place on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021.

This year's Peach Bowl kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 30.

The 2021 Peach Bowl will air on ESPN.

Peach Bowl Location

Pittsburgh will square off against Michigan State at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.

Peach Bowl Weather

AccuWeather is projecting it to be 65 degrees with clouds in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl. Nevertheless, Mercedes-Benz Stadium does have a retractable roof, so the stadium can be closed if the weather takes a turn before Thursday.

Peach Bowl History

The Peach Bowl has been played since 1968. It has featured teams from the CFP conference since 2014.

Pittsburgh has never appeared in this bowl game. They defeated Eastern Michigan, 34-30, in the 2019 Quick Lane Bowl, their last bowl game appearance.

Michigan State has also never appeared in this bowl game. They defeated Wake Forest, 27-21, in the 2019 Pinstripe Bowl, their last bowl game appearance.
