The official 2021 NFL schedule release on Wednesday clarified which teams will play when and who will feature in the coveted primetime slots throughout the year. The Green Bay Packers were handed a number of primetime appearances this season.

Green Bay Packers Primetime Games

The Packers will play five games in primetime during the 2021-22 season. That is tied for the most primetime appearances across the league along with seven other teams.

The Packers' primetime schedule for the 2021-22 season is as follows:

-Week 2: vs Detroit Lions (Sept. 20)
-Week 3: at San Francisco 49ers (Sept. 26)
-Week 8: at Arizona Cardinals (Oct. 28)
-Week 14: vs Chicago Bears (Dec. 12)
-Week 17: vs Minnesota Vikings (Jan. 2)

Here's what channels the Packers' primetime games will be on in 2021:

-Week 2: vs Detroit Lions (Monday Night Football, ESPN)
-Week 3: at San Francisco 49ers (Sunday Night Football, NBC)

Green Bay will host the Detroit Lions in their home opener in Week 2 on Monday Night Football.

The Packers have three Sunday Night Football appearances in 2021: on the road against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, at home against the Chicago Bears in Week 14 and hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17.
