The Green Bay Packers enter their Week 5 bye week undefeated at 4-0 and have simply cruised through each game on the schedule with relative ease so far this NFL season. Despite their success, their Super Bowl odds remain much lower than they should be.
The Packers currently rank behind three teams when it comes to Super Bowl odds. With odds set at +1100, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, they trail the Kansas City Chiefs (+380), Baltimore Ravens (+600) and Seattle Seahawks (+800).
Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Odds
The Packers have been carried by an insane offensive start to the season, led by NFL MVP cadidate quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers currenly ranks No. 5 in the league with 1,214 yards, is No. 2 with 13 passing touchdowns, and has yet to throw an interception. He laso leads the league with a 92.8 quarterback rating.
The offense leads the league in scoring posting 38.0 points per game and is second in total yards, racking up 445.5 per game. They also have the highest average time of possession in the NFL (34:20), which means this team has gone out and put on an offensive clinic each and every game.
Green Bay's defensive performance so far this season is nothing to overlook as well. They rank No. 9 in the NFL giving up just 105.8 rushing yards per game and have helped the team post a +3 turnover ratio so far this season. There is no reason a team as balanced and disciplined as the Packers should remain underrated in their chances to win their fifth Lombardi Trophy.
The top three teams in Super Bowl odds are all very well-rounded teams, but the dominance shown by the Packers so far this season should have them as the odds-on favorite to win the NFC, at the very least.
