Team USA is the favorite to win it all with odds set at +115, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. That is a major jump from the +600 odds Klineman & Ross had heading into the Olympics.
The duo of Taliqua Clancy & Mariafe Artacho Del Solar from Australia follow close behind with odds set at +230. Team Switzerland (+430) and Team Latvia (+500) fill out the rest of the odds.
Klineman & Ross took care of business in the quarterfinals on Monday by defeating Maggie Kozuch and reigning Olympic gold medalist Laura Ludwig of Germany. They captured the victory in straight sets with identical scores of 21-19 and remain undefeated in the Olympics with a 5-0 record.
In fact, the American duo has dropped just one set total. The anticipation continues to build as the Klineman & Ross are just two wins away from winning their first gold medals. Team USA is set to take on Switzerland’s Joana Heidrich and Anouk Verge-Depre on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EST.
