The Ohio State Buckeyes persevered through one of the wackiest college football season, perhaps of all-time, last year in triumphant fashion. There wasn't going to be a season, and by October there was, before Ohio State marched all the way to the National Championship Game.

The championship game didn't go quite as planned, but this team has a lot to be excited about heading into the 2021 campaign. Right now, the Buckeyes have odds set at -200 to win the Big Ten Championship, according to college football futures posted on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Oddsmakers actually expect Ohio State to run away with the conference title next season. The Iowa Hawkeyes own the second-best odds amongst Big Ten teams, but only at +900. That's a massive gap with Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin also coming in at +900 odds.

Ohio State Big Ten Championship Odds

Ohio State fans will be thrilled with this first look at the conference championship odds. Especially given a lot of the questions surrounding next year's roster. The Buckeyes are always deep, especially with the second-best 2021 recruiting class in all of college football, according to 247 Sports.

Still, this team had 10 players taken in the 2021 NFL Draft including starting quarterback Justin Fields (No. 11) and starting running back Trey Sermon (No. 88). There's a lot of questions surrounding replacements on the roster, but with such a strong recruiting class, it's easier to fill those holes.

After all, Ohio State has lost just three games in the past three seasons combined and has gone 15-0 in conference play dating back two years. There's still a ton to be excited about for Ohio State fans as this program looks to avenge its championship loss last season.
