Odds to Win NBA Finals Slightly Favor Bucks Over Lakers and Clippers

The NBA might feel more wide open than it has in years, but there's still a pretty well-defined hierarchy when it comes to the odds through February this season.
Odds to Win NBA Finals
Thanks to a blazing 45-7 start, the Milwaukee Bucks (+290) are currently favored to win it all this summer, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. It should come as no surprise that their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is also favored to win his second consecutive NBA MVP award.

However, Milwaukee has a pretty slim lead over its primary competitors, as both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are tied for the second-best odds at +300.
There's a pretty significant drop-off after the top 3, though, with the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers in a three-way tie four the fourth-best odds at +1700.

While this is shaping up to be a three-team race, there's still quite a bit of time for a dark horse like the Utah Jazz (+2000), Miami Heat (+2300), Denver Nuggets (+2500) or Toronto Raptors (+3000), the reigning NBA champions, to make a run at the title.
About a week ahead of the 2020 NBA All-Star break, these odds will surely continue to shift as the season progresses.
