Bill Belichick, the man who has never let his likeness appear in any Madden game, has agreed to do something football fans might not believe. The future Hall of Fame coach has signed on to be part of a new show on NFL Network.

He'll be discussing the greatest players and teams in NFL history, alongside co-hosts Rich Eisen and Cris Collinsworth. And while this may seem uncharacteristic at first, it's actually very Belichickian.

If he's asked a conventional question in the post-game conference, he'll likely scoff. But ask him an in-depth question about the history of the game? Belichick will talk for hours.

With his wealth of knowledge and passion for the game, Belichick is pretty much the ideal hire for a show like this. To borrow a phrase from the man himself, Belichick might actually be the "Mona Lisa Vito" of football history.

The addition of Belichick to the NFL Network's all-time teams series could make it must-watch television. Perhaps we'll get to hear Belichick lighten up and even crack a few jokes.

It's amazing how Belichick found the time to do this while preparing to lead the New England Patriots on another Super Bowl run. But either way, it should make for good TV.
