NBA Rookie of the Year Odds for 2019-20 Season Favor Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, is the odds-on favorite to win the 2019-20 NBA Rookie of the Year award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Zion is -150 to win the award, as he's set to be the starting power forward for the New Orleans Pelicans. He has immense potential in his first NBA season, as the Pelicans are a dark horse playoff contender, loaded with young talent and a veteran point guard in Jrue Holiday.

Following Zion in Rookie of the Year odds is the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (+400). Morant is fully expected to start at point guard and has the ability to put up numbers that could rival Zion's, albeit on a Grizzlies squad that's expected to be one of the league's worst teams.
RJ Barrett has the third-best odds to win the award at +450, fitting as he was the No. 3 pick in this year's draft. Barrett is also expected to start for the Knicks this season, and should be a good source of scoring on a deep New York team that lacks a true go-to option on offense.
RJ Barrett says he's never met Daniel Jones. He went to a Duke football game and they won. "I would love to a Giants game."

Rounding out the top five are Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (+1400) and Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White (+2000).
Garland is fully expected to start for the Cavs alongside second-year guard Collin Sexton. White, however, is more uncertain as far as his early season role, as he is currently expected to be a reserve behind free agent signing Tomas Satoransky.
