After a terrific showing over the past week, showcasing new parts of his game, Giannis Antetokounmpo has extend his lead in the NBA MVP odds race, and now sits at +250, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Giannis was sitting on top of the MVP odds before this week, but his odds have continued to improve with his terrific play in November. In his five November games so far, Giannis is averaging 33.4 points on 59.2 percent shooting, while also grabbing 14.6 rebounds, dishing 6.6 assists, blocking 1.6 shots and totaling 1.4 steals per game.

While this is incredibly impressive, this is nothing new for the "Greek Freak." What is new is his extended range, hitting six 3-point shots over his past two games and hitting on 36.4 percent of his shots from deep in November.

Despite dropping slightly in the odds, James Harden is now the second-favorite to win NBA MVP (+550), while Anthony Davis has dropped from +490 to +600 over the past week, which is tied with fellow Los Angeles newcomer Kawhi Leonard.

News of Leonard's load management for his knees might be keeping him down in the MVP odds, as he continues his terrific play on both sides of the floor without his running mate, Paul George.

While Davis has continued to be solid for the Lakers, his stats have dipped a bit in November, totaling just one double-double in his four games to go along with his 24.3-point average during the month.

It's way too early to begin official MVP predictions for this season, but if Giannis continues to knock down the long range shot at a consistent rate, he is going to be one dangerous player down the stretch.
