NBA MVP Odds: Nikola Jokic Extends Lead Over Joel Embiid on FanDuel Sportsbook

There is about 10 games left in the NBA regualr season and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (-380) has extended his lead in the MVP odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. Jokic has pulled ahead of Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (+350) while Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (+1200) is going down shooting.
Curry's odds to win MVP were +6000 over a week ago, but his current tear has kept the Warriors (31-31) in the Western Conference playoff chase. Curry is averaging 37.4 points per game over his last 13 contests and recently set an NBA record by hitting 85 made 3's earlier this month.
Jokic is currently averaging 26.2 points, 11.0 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game for the Nuggets. He's recording career highs in points, assists, shooting percentage (56.7%) and free throws (85.8%).
Embiid leads the 76ers with 29.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. The 7-foot center is also shooting a career-high 51.4% and making 85.0% on free throws. His Sixers are just behind the NBA championship favorite Brooklyn Nets in the Atlantic division.
