With Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in the rearview mirror, the NBA Finals field is finally set. LeBron James will take on his former team as the Los Angeles Lakers face off against the Miami Heat. Game 1 takes place on Wednesday at 9 pm ET.
Just a few days ahead of the series, the Lakers are the clear-cut favorites over the Heat, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
NBA Finals Odds 2020
Los Angeles is available at -370 to hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy, while Miami is listed at just +290 to win it all. The Lakers are also favored at -215 to kick off the series with a victory in Game 1 and the Heat are listed at just +180. The spread has the Lakers as 5-point favorites in Game 1.
Miami has overcome deficits like this before, though. The Heat were listed at +3000 heading into the postseason, giving them just the eighth-best odds to win it all. Jimmy Butler's team was also listed as an underdog against both the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics in the postseason.
This should be a hard-fought series that brings fans plenty of excitement.
