The NBA season rolls on tonight, bringing fans some exciting matchups. If you're looking for some advice for your NBA FanDuel lineup tonight, The Duel is here to help.

And be sure to checkout our nightly against the spread (ATS) picks as well.

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Thursday, 2/4, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA

Joel Embiid Fantasy

Target Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers ($10,200): The Portland Trail Blazers rank No. 29 in the NBA in defensive rating, as well as No. 20 in total rebound rate. Enes Kanter has produced some impressive numbers, but he's not exactly a defensive stopper at the five and he's allowing opponents to shoot 48.0% from the mid-range and 65.9% in the restricted area. Joel Embiid should have a big advantage tonight.

Eric Gordon Fantasy

Target Eric Gordon, PG, Houston Rockets ($5,400): Victor Oladipo is expected to rest tonight, which should be a nice boon for Eric Gordon's fantasy value. The last time Dipo sat, Gordon went off for a season-high 37.6 FanDuel points while also setting a season-high with a 32.3% usage rate.

Rodney Hood Fantasy

Target Rodney Hood, SG, Portland Trail Blazers ($4,000): Starting with C.J. McCollum and Nassir Little on the shelf (which will be the case again tonight), Rodney Hood played 35.1 minutes on Tuesday, getting up 12 field goal attempts (including 6 3-point attempts) and dropping 20.4 FanDuel points. That makes him a strong value tonight already, and if Damian Lillard (questionable; abdomen) ends up sitting as well, Hood's value will climb even higher as his offensive workload would likely expand significantly.

Trae Young Fantasy

Avoid Trae Young, PG, Atlanta Hawks ($10,500): Trae Young is already a little over-priced relative to his recent production. He's only eclipsed 52.8 FanDuel points once this season, and he's fallen below 50 in three of his last six (including 38.3 in his latest outing). Now he faces the Utah Jazz, who own a top-five defensive rating and rank just 25th in pace. No thanks.

Stephen Curry Fantasy

Avoid Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors ($9,900): The 3-point heavy fantasy production you get from Stephen Curry tends to make him a volatile option. He went off for almost 70 fantasy points in his last game, but he's also fallen below 35 in two of his last four. Tonight he gets a Dallas Mavericks team that has limited opponents to the NBA's fifth-lowest 3-point percentage, meaning we're a lot more likely to see one of those duds than a big fantasy explosion.
