FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA
Zion Williamson Fantasy
Target Zion Williamson, PF, New Orleans Pelicans ($9,700): Zion Williamson is scoring at will this season, and especially as of late. He's put up 33-plus points in three of his last four contests while adding 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. That's resulted in games of 56.3, 50.9 and 46.4 FanDuel fantasy points in that stretch. The Los Angeles Clippers' usually strong defense is limited by injuries right now, giving Zion a prime opportunity to rack up huge numbers. Serge Ibaka being out leaves Marcus Morris and Ivica Zubac to man the paint, and they're not stopping the Pelicans' star. Steven Adams potentially being out could open up even more rebounding opponents for Zion, elevating his already great fantasy outlook tonight.
Bam Adebayo Fantasy
Target Bam Adebayo, C, Miami Heat ($8,500): Bam Adebayo is enjoying his own positive stretch of play. He's put up 45-plus fantasy points in three of his last four games, racking up at least 5 assists per contest while averaging 20.0 PPG. One of those games was against these same Chicago Bulls, when Adebayo totaled 20 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds for 47.2 fantasy points. Chicago ranks in the bottom half of the league for opponent PPG (112.8), so Adebayo's success as a scorer and distrbutor should continue again on Monday.
Mike Conley Fantasy
Target Mike Conley, PG, Utah Jazz ($7,100): Mike Conley has stepped up for the Utah Jazz with Donovan Mitchell sidelined. Conley is averaging 10.0 APG in three Mitchell-less games so far, along with 14.3 PPG and 3.0 RPG. He's clearly taken on the playmaking role with Utah's offense and is averaging 37.2 fantasy points per game in Mitchell's absence. Conley is in position for a great night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who give up the second-most PPG (117.9). Conley's assist numbers are already elevating his fantasy outlook, and a solid scoring night could really put him over the top.
Karl-Anthony Towns Fantasy
Avoid Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves ($9,700): Karl-Anthony Towns hasn't put the eye-popping numbers he's used to lately. He has the potential to go off for 50-plus fantasy points seemingly every night, although strong matchups can trouble him. Tonight he'll face the Jazz, who embody a tough opponent. They allow the fourth-fewest PPG (107.3) and rank near the top 10 for fewest opponent RPG (50.9). KAT managed just 41.9 fantasy points against Utah in his last game, so clearly Rudy Gobert and co. know how to limit the All-Star.
Jonas Valanciunas Fantasy
Avoid Jonas Valanciunas, C, Memphis Grizzlies ($7,400): Jonas Valanciunas is another big man who draws an unfortunate opponent in the Denver Nuggets on Monday. Valanciunas had a bounce-back game in his last outing, but that came against the struggling Portland Trail Blazers, and he put up fewer than 32 fantasy points in his two games prior to that. A nightly double-double threat, Valanciunas could struggle against a Nuggets defense that allows the10th fewest PPG (110.4) and holds opponents to the second-fewest RPG (48.1) in the league. It's not hard to imagine Valanciunas struggling against Nikola Jokic, so it's best to avoid him on Monday.
