NBA DFS 3/30/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Wednesday, 3/30, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 3/30

Nikola Jokic Fantasy

Target Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets ($11,400): It's easy to see Nikola Jokic's massive price tag and want to go another way at the center position. However, the four-time All-Star has simply been too dominant to pass up on. Jokic is averaging 29.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists over his last seven games and is now seen as the MVP favorite. He draws another great matchup on Wednesday night against a Pacers' defense that allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing centers. Indiana gives up 51.0 points in the paint per game (No. 27 in NBA) and simply has no one to size up with Jokic down low.

Davion Mitchell Fantasy

Target Davion Mitchell, PG, Sacramento Kings ($7,000): Davion Mitchell has started each of the Kings' last five games following the injury suffered by starter De'Aaron Fox. The rookie out of Baylor has taken full advantage, averaging 21.6 points, 7.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds during that span. He faces a Houston squad on Wednesday night that plays at the fastest pace in the NBA despite ranking dead last in defensive efficiency. It's no wonder this game has one of the highest point totals on the slate at 229.5. Keep in mind the Rockets also give up the most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Everything lines up for Mitchell to have another big performance.

Aaron Wiggins Fantasy

Target Aaron Wiggins, SG, Oklahoma City Thunder ($4,700): Having players like Jokic in your lineup makes searching for cheap players with high upside an important strategy. Look no further than Aaron Wiggins of the Thunder. The 23-year-old played 40 minutes on Monday night and scored 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting. His sudden burst in usage can be attributed to the fact that Oklahoma City is missing its entire starting lineup due to injuries. Wiggins is playing with nothing to lose and now matches up against a Hawks' defense that has posted the fifth-worst defensive efficiency mark in the NBA. Atlanta also allows an opponent shooting percentage of 47.2% (No. 26 in NBA).

Jimmy Butler Fantasy

Avoid Jimmy Butler, SF/SG, Miami Heat ($7,900): Jimmy Butler has been up-and-down all season long from a fantasy perspective. He is coming off an impressive 27-point performance, but has also scored in single digits twice in his last six games. It's already hard to trust him and now he draws a nightmare matchup as well. Boston gives up the fewest fantasy points to opposing small forwards and owns the best defensive efficiency mark in the NBA. Their ability to completely erase an opponent's top offensive players makes Butler a name to avoid. Both of these teams also play at a bottom-10 pace in the league. Less possessions means less opportunities to fill up the stat sheet.

Jordan Poole Fantasy

Avoid Jordan Poole, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors ($7,700): The Warriors face off against the Suns in a key Western Conference battle on Wednesday night. While there's no reason to avoid this game entirely, staying away from Jordan Poole is likely a smart idea. Phoenix gives up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing point guards and held Poole to just 14 points (5-of-12 shooting) in their last matchup in December. Not only that, but Poole gets most of his work done from beyond the arc. That's not going to work considering the Suns give up only 34.8 points from three-pointers per game (No. 6 in NBA). There's better options out there around this price tag.
