NBA DFS 1/26/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Wednesday, 1/26, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 1/26

Trae Young Fantasy

Target Trae Young, PG, Atlanta Hawks ($9,500): Trae Young is on a scoring tear and he's got the perfect matchup to keep it up on Wednesday. Young comes into tonight's contest averaging 30.8 points per game on 44.4% shooting from deep over his last five outings, along with 8.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds. He now draws one of the worst defenses league-wide in the Sacramento Kings, who allow the second-most PPG and fourth-highest field goal percentage to opponents this season. Young should thrive as a scorer and distributor in this one, giving him huge boom potential.

Jalen Suggs Fantasy

Target Jalen Suggs, PG/SG, Orlando Magic ($6,700): Jalen Suggs is a great value at his current price. The rookie is averaging 40.4 FanDuel fantasy points over his last three games, soaring past his current season average of 25.1. Suggs appears to finally be making the all-around impact that was expected of him, putting up 17.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG and 7.0 APG during this stretch along with 2.0 steals a night. This explosion has coincided with Suggs being reinserted back into the starting lineup, and he should be a featured part of the Magic's offense against the short-handed Los Angeles Clippers.

Goga Bitadze Fantasy

Target Goga Bitadze, C, Indiana Pacers ($5,500): The Indiana Pacers' injury woes in the frontcourt have opened up a huge opportunity for Goga Bitadze. The big man has drawn a start in each of the past three contests, and his numbers have jumped to 13.7 PPG, 8.3 RPG and 3.3 APG during that span. He has an appetizing matchup tonight in the Charlotte Hornets, who give up the third-most RPG to opponents. Charlotte also plays at the second-fastest pace in the league, which should lead to plenty of opportunities on the boards for Bitadze.

Julius Randle Fantasy

Avoid Julius Randle, PF/C, New York Knicks ($7,900): There's nothing that appealing about Julius Randle's recent play. He's put up 24.4, 35.3 and 37.4 fantasy points in each of his three outings, with his scoring and rebounding totals leaving something to be desired. Randle's also racked up a whopping 14 turnovers over his past three games. The Miami Heat aren't likely the team to help him snap out of his mediocrity. The Heat surrender the fourth-fewest PPG and limit opponents to the fewest RPG in the entire league.

Anfernee Simons Fantasy

Avoid Anfernee Simons, PG/SG, Portland Trail Blazers ($7,800): Anfernee Simons' short time as a fantasy star appears to be over. CJ McCollum is back in control as the Portland Trail Blazers' leading guard, and Norman Powell returned from an eight-game absence on Tuesday, relegating Simons to the third option. Simons hasn't cracked 30 fantasy points in either of his last two games, and a hefty 12 combined turnovers is a big reason why. Simons' competition for looks and playmaking opportunities makes it hard to justify the price.
