The Washington Football Team has surprised a bit this season, but they are still only 2-5 and will not be competing for anything other than possibly the NFC East title, which means less than it should this year. They are a team on the rebuild and there are some players they can move before the NFL trade deadline. Edge rusher Ryan Kerrigan is one of these players.

On the outs of the main rotation. Kerrigan has requested a trade. With that in mind, these are the three most likely trade destinations for the long-time Washington defender.

1. Seattle Seahawks

Yes, the Seattle Seahawks traded for Carlos Dunlap, but one player will not come close to fixing this Seattle defense. They have a 3.53 percent sack rate through eight weeks (No. 28 in NFL), which has been a big reason for making their secondary look even worse. Adding both Dunlap and Kerrigan should help to get Seattle close to the two sacks per game mark.

2. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans won the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes this offseason. However, they are tied for the worst sack percentage in the league (2.48 percent). A strong running game combined with a strong pass rush is the way to close out games, and the Titans currently are missing the back half of that combo.

3. Arizona Cardinals

At 5-2, the Arizona Cardinals are in a position to contend this season. However, losing Chandler Jones is a massive loss for their defense. Acquiring Ryan Kerrigan could help cover this up a little. Arizona is average in sack rate (6.55 percent), so they need to make sure they do not fall below average.
