MLB Postseason Odds Favor Astros Over Dodgers and Yankees Just Weeks Before the 2019 Playoffs

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the best record in MLB at 85-44. Just percentage points behind LA are the AL-best New York Yankees at 83-46 and the 82-47 Houston Astros.

While the Dodgers and Yankees kick off a three-game series tonight in Los Angeles, it's the Astros that have the best odds to win the World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Astros are +220 to win the 2019 World Series, followed closely by the Dodgers (+260) and the Yankees (+490). The Dodgers are the heavy favorites to come out of the NL, with the Atlanta Braves (+1000) having the next-best odds to come out on top in the MLB playoffs.

Beyond that, there's the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins both at +1900. Every other team in the Majors is longer than a 20-to-1 shot, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

So while the Dodgers and Yankees currently sit atop their respective leagues, it's the Astros that remain the favorites to win it all. Either way, we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out come October.
