The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 NFL action and it marks the first time the two teams have met since the ugly altercation between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph last season.
Garrett was suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season after he hit Rudolph with his own helmet, but Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin says took the high road and stated how he simply wants his team ready and focused to play in this pivotal AFC North matchup.
It's unlikely that none of the Steelers' players harbor any ill will towards their division rivals after what happened last season, but it looks like Tomlin is set on making sure this is treated like any other game. Any added antics or altercations could take away from what should be a tightly-contested game.
The Steelers have had an amazing start to the season as they have a 4-0 record for the first time since 1979 and look to stay undefeated. On the other hand, the Browns have impressed as well winning four straight games after dropping their season opener and they will try to keep that momentum going this week.
Tomlin also praised Garrett for being a "freakish athelte" and said the Steelers will have their hands full facing him on Sunday. Garrett's stellar play this season has him in the running for Defensive Player of the Year so far and is a big reason why the Browns have played as well as they have.
In the end, it looks like the fans and the media are the only ones focused on Garrett's infamous return to playing against the Steelers as Tomlin has his team focused on what is really important, winning.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Steelers as 3.5-point favorites to defeat the Browns and remain undefeated on Sunday.
