The Dallas Cowboys began training camp looking like they would have one of the better offensive lines in the NFL, but that quickly changed because of injuries, mainly to left tackle Tyron Smith. Smith is one of the best left tackles in the NFL, protecting Dak Prescott's blindside and providing weak side rushing lanes for Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.

Tyron Smith Injury Update

Smith tore his hamstring tendon in August and it sounds like his recovery is ahead of schedule. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy gave an update on Smith's rehab on Thursday and it sounds like it's going as well as it possibly can be.

The Cowboys have dealt with a ton of injuries this season, especially on offense, with Prescott, Elliott, Smith, and Michael Gallup all missing significant time. With every one of them planned to be healthy in Week 11 aside from Smith, getting him back on the field would help make a very talented offensive unit whole again.

The Cowboys take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, and are 1.5-point road favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
