With the 2020 MLB season officially in the books, FanDuel Sportsbook has already released odds to win the 2021 World Series for every team.

The Mets head into the offseason with a lot of decisions to make, but they remain an underrated team as their odds to win the World Series next season are simply way too low.

With the team's odds set at +2500, the Mets have the 11th-best odds in the Majors. The Mets didn't have the most successful 2020 season as they finished 26-34 and failed to make the playoffs, but they still have enough talent on the roster to be able to compete with the best.

The Mets are carried by their all-star starting pitcher in Jacob deGrom, but the team has also built a solid starting lineup based on youth and power. In fact, the Mets had the third-most hits in the entire league last season (551). If the Mets can make a few moves in the offseason, they could address their weak spots on the team and become even better.

For a team that's future seems to be as bright as any across the league, the Mets' odds to lift the Commissioner's trophy next season are simply way too low. As a matter of fact, they are just disrespectful.
