The Green Bay Packers' 2022 season went from bad to worse on Sunday after falling 15-9 to the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was far from MVP form in Week 9, throwing two costly interceptions in the red zone that came back to bite Green Bay.
Rodgers' continued struggles once again prompted demands to see Jordan Love under center. Head coach Matt LaFleur responded to that possibility after the game.
LaFleur told reporters he's not considering any change at QB following the loss to Detroit. It's certainly not a surprise, but this question will continue to arise if Rodgers doesn't snap out of his funk.
Sunday marked a low point for the four-time MVP. He failed to capitalize against a vulnerable Lions defense, throwing 3 interceptions and just 1 touchdown in the defeat. LaFleur remarked after the game it seemed like Detroit wanted Green Bay to throw, showcasing how much of a threat this unit doesn't pose right now.
After dropping their fifth straight game, the Packers now sit at just 3-6 on the year. Getting Rodgers and the passing attack back on track will be a crucial part of turning things around in the second half of the season.
