Marvin Jones Fantasy Outlook Remains Strong Following Kenny Golladay Injury Update

One of the key injuries that the Detroit Lions are dealing with is to wide receiver Kenny Golladay, who has missed the last three games with a hip injury. That hip will prevent him from suiting up in Thursday's matchup against the Houston Texans, meaning fellow wideout Marvin Jones Jr. should be in for a larger workload once again.
Kenny Golladay is out. But D’Andre Swift is questionable. So he’s got a chance. https://t.co/87Dn4p1jFP

Golladay has only managed to play in five games for the Lions this season. He's averaging 4 receptions and 67.6 yards per game.
Marvin Jones Fantasy Outlook
With Golladay out of the lineup, Jones has emerged as a main option for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Jones has grabbed 4 TDs since Week 8, when Golladay was forced to exit early against the Indianapolis Colts with his injury.
For the season, Jones is turning 5.7 targets into 3.7 receptions and 45.5 yards per game. However, since Week 8, he's upped those numbers to 6.8 targets, 4.5 receptions, and 57.3 yards per game. There's no reason for the upward trajectory not to continue for Jones, especially with Golladay leaving behind 6.4 targets per game in his absence.
Two of Jones' best games of the season have come with Golladay hampered by his injury. Jones put up 15.9 fantasy points (PPR) against the Colts in Week 8 and 15.6 fantasy points against the Washington Football Team in Week 10.
While Jones is coming off of just 5.1 fantasy points in Week 11, he has a juicy matchup against the Texans on the schedule. Houston's defense is giving up the 9th-most fantasy points to WRs this season (40.02). Jones fantasy managers should expect the wideout to feast on Thanksgiving, especially since he'll be Stafford's main receiving option.
