Following an unsuccessful stint with the New England Patriots, Mohamed Sanu is back in the NFL after being signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad on Friday.

The Lions' wide receiver group has been disappointing this season, especially their No. 1 wide receiver Kenny Golladay, who has only played in five games this season and it already doubtful for Week 9.

While Sanu doesn't have any value yet since he is just on the team's practice squad, he could be called up soon. He would join a talented, yet injury-prone group, but would be thrown passes from Matthew Stafford, who has always put up big numbers through the air.

If Sanu is called up to the active roster, it would be wise for fanatsy managers to wait and see what he does first. It seems like his targets would, at least at first, depend on who else was on the field. If there were injuroes, he might be a viable player in deeper leagues. But until that happens,
