NFL free agency got off to roaring start on Monday. With contracts and millions of dollars flying all over the place, dozens of players were either on the move to new homes, or signing new contracts to stay put with their current teams.
One big name that remains unsigned heading into day two of free agency is Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette. The former No. 4 overall pick put together a really impressive season in Tampa Bay and a great playoff run after being released by the lowly Jaguars prior to the start of last season.
While Fournette's future remains up in the air, reports surfaced on Tuesday that Fournette's next contract could be down to two teams, the Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks.
Seattle had Chris Carson as the lead back last season, but he is also a free agent. Tampa, on the other hand, has Ronald Jones still signed as their starting back, but Fournette proved to be a vital pice in sharing that workload with Jones last season on the way to a Super Bowl win.
We know Fournette earlier in the offseason said he would love to be back in Tampa, but things can change. This looks like it will all come down to how Fournette views each contract and the situation each team is offering him.
