Lamar Jackson is coming off one of the most dominant NFL seasons we have seen in some time, where he was rightfully awarded the league's MVP award. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback was a dual threat unlike any we have ever seen before, and we can assume he will operate in the same type of way this season.
His 2020 projections are high, as you would assume for a reigning MVP. However, his rushing odds for the season may shock you. The quarterback currently has +2400 odds to lead the NFL in rushing, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Jackson finished last season with 1,206 rushing yards in only 15 games. This was for the sixth-most in the league. If he played 16 games, at the pace of the rest of the season, be would have ran for nearly 1,300 yards, moving up into the top five in rushing.
What may be even more surprising about Jackson's odds is that he has better odds to lead the league in rushing than he does to lead the league in passing (+7500). Last season, the Ravens quarterback ranked just No. 22 in passing yards, at 3,127.
It appears 2020 will be another big season for Jackson. Sit back and enjoy, since every game for him is like watching SportsCenter Top-10.
