JuJu Smith-Schuster Fantasy Outlook Drops Following Dud in Week 10 Against Rams

JuJu Smith-Schuster's production has been pretty underwhelming this season, but it's hard to put too much of that on him, as he's been forced to play without Ben Roethlisberger since he went down in Week 2.
While Mason Rudolph has been serviceable in Roethlisberger's absence, JuJu only has one 100-yard game this season, after posting eight such contests last year. His streak of poor fantasy outings continued in Week 10, as he was held to 44 yards on three receptions against the Los Angeles Rams.

JuJu racked up 1,426 receiving yards in 2018, but he's on a 16-game pace to fall below 1,000 receiving yards this season. Considering he had an average draft position (ADP) of WR7 this summer, those numbers have to be tough to stomach for his fantasy owners.
However, while JuJu hasn't been nearly as effective as many were hoping he would be, he has a chance to turn it around thanks to a soft upcoming schedule.
Five of Pittsburgh's next six games come against opponents that came into the week as bottom-10 scoring defenses. Additionally, four of the Steelers' next six games are against opponents with a bottom-10 pass defense, according to Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings.
Even though JuJu had another uninspiring performance in Week 10, his upcoming schedule suggests he could be a valuable fantasy asset down the stretch. If you haven't passed your trade deadline yet, he's worth considering as a buy-low candidate.
