Josh Allen Still Being Disrespected in MVP Odds

Buffalo Bills franchise quarterback Josh Allen is in the midst of a career year. Allen's Bills are 7-2 through nine games, and the 6-foot-5 QB has racked up 24 total touchdowns to just 5 interceptions with 2,587 passing yards to boot.
And yet, Allen is barely even viewed as a legitimate MVP contender, according to NFL MVP odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Allen boasts +1800 odds to take home the hardware this year, giving him the fourth-best odds in the league. While that may seem pretty good on the surface, the odds tell us that the MVP award is essentially a three-horse race.
Aaron Rodgers has the third-best odds at +400. In other words, the gap between Rodgers and Allen is as almost as wide as the gap between Ben Roethlisberger (+3000) and Dalvin Cook (+4500).
That's just disrespectful to what Allen is doing this year. He has his team in contention for the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC and is putting up prolific numbers in the process. He deserves to be a lot higher in the MVP conversation.
