James Robinson Injury Update Clouds Fantasy Outlook For Championship in Week 16

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson sustained an ankle injury in Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens that forced him to exit early.
Robinson was already nursing a knee injury heading into that game, which leaves his fantasy outlook cloudy going forward.

James Robinson Fantasy Outlook
Robinson has been one of the lone bright spots for the Jaguars this season, immediately stepping into a workhorse role and providing great production.
The rookie has averaged a whopping 21.4 opportunities (17.1 rushes plus 4.3 targets) per game, turning that into 101.0 yards from scrimmage per contest. Robinson has found the end zone 10 times this season, proving to be a threat on the ground (7 TDs) and through the air (3 TDs).
Losing Robinson and his average of 17.9 PPR fantasy points per game would be a blow entering the fantasy football championship. Even if he recovers in time for Week 16 against the Chicago Bears, there's a chance that the Jaguars keep their star RB on the bench for the rest of the season to avoid further injury and to make sure they get the No. 1 pick in next year's draft.
Fantasy managers should monitor Robinson's status and prepare for the possibility that they've seen the last of the rookie this year.
Dare Ogunbowale Fantasy Outlook
Former Wisconsin Badgers standout Dare Ogunbowale would be in line to assume Robinson's workload if the rookie is kept out.
Ogunbowale hasn't featured much at all in the Jaguars' offense, seeing just 8 targets and 4 total rushes across his 12 appearances. He is known as a pass-catching threat out of the backfield, grabbing 35 of his 46 targets last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 286 yards.
If Robinson can't go, Ogunbowale will serve as lead back against a stout Chicago Bears defense that is allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to RBs per game (21.19) this season. Ogunbowale could be worth a look for those in deeper leagues (especially those with PPR scoring) given the touches he'd see as the Jaguars' RB1.
