Jamal Adams Played Through Two Ridiculously Painful Injuries
By Larry Rupp

The Seattle Seahawks battled all game, but ultimately fell to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round on Saturday by a score of 30-20. In particular, Seahawks safety Jamal Adams battled through multiple painful injuries as of late just to be on the field.
Jamal Adams Injury Update
The news came out that Adams was playing the Rams with a torn labrum in his left shoulder as well as ailing injuries in his right shoulder and left fingers. Being able to play at his level with those types of injuries is no joke. However, there was no way Adams was ever going to leave the field in what was his first career playoff game.
Seahawks’ S Jamal Adams played Saturday’s game vs. the Rams with a torn labrum in his left shoulder that will require off-season surgery. But Adams has other issues. His right shoulder also might need surgery. And Adams plans to have surgery to the fingers on his left hand.

Not only did he suit up and play, Adams also finished with 4 tackles and a season-high 3 passes defended. He was a focal point on Seattle's defense all season and led all NFL defensive backs with 9.5 sacks. Adams was recently named to the 2021 Pro Bowl roster as well as the NFL All-Pro Second team.
Now, he heads into the offseason with possibly multiple surgeries on the horizon. If one thing is clear in all of this, it is that no one can question Adams' toughness and ability to do anything he has to to play the game that he loves.
