Is Kevin Durant Playing Tonight? (Latest Injury Updates and News for Suns vs. Timberwolves on March 29)
By Larry Rupp

The Phoenix Suns are back in action Wednesday night as they face the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is Kevin Durant, who has been sidelined with a left ankle sprain.
Kevin Durant Injury Update (3/29/2023)
Kevin Durant is officially listed as questionable to suit up against Minnesota. NBA insider Shams Charania reports that Durant will make his return to the court, though, barring any setbacks. The 13-time All-Star has missed the last 10 games for the Suns after slipping during a routine pregame drill.

Phoenix head coach Monty Williams spoke about Durant's progress on Tuesday, saying he's "seen him go from cardio to shooting to be able to get up and down a little bit and get himself prepared to go to the next level." Keeping Durant healthy for the playoffs is going to be a top priority for the Suns.
This is obviously a massive boost for the Suns considering Durant has averaged 26.7 points and 7.3 rebounds (69.0% shooting) in three games with the team. Phoenix won all three of those games and now have a great chance to hold off teams like the Los Angeles Clippers for the West's No. 4 seed.
Kevin Durant Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today
Kevin Durant is listed with over/unders of 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists on FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds, which is yet another indication that he will be on the floor tonight. The 34-year-old's rebounding prop sticks out considering the Timberwolves allow the sixth-most opponent rebounds in the NBA (53.3). Durant has also tallied at least 6 boards in all three games with Phoenix.
Durant is listed among the top options on the FanDuel DFS slate as well, checking in with the eighth-most expensive price tag at the small forward position ($9,400). Fantasy managers should be careful here given Durant could see less minutes than usual in his first game back. Pairing him with a safe option at another starting spot is a strategy worth taking to ensure a balanced lineup is locked in.
