Giannis Antetokounmpo won the NBA MVP award last season, and is now the favorite to repeat as the 2019-20 regular season tips off tonight.

Sitting at +270 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, Antetokounmpo remains ahead of the pack with Stephen Curry (+500), Anthony Davis (+750), James Harden (+750) and LeBron James (+850) rounding out the top five.

Beyond that, there's Kawhi Leonard (+950), Nikola Jokic (+110) and Joel Embiid (+1600), but it's Embiid's 76ers teammate, Ben Simmons, at +4000 that's the most popular bet to win the NBA MVP award, per FanDuel Sportsbook. Embiid, AD, LeBron and Curry have the next most bets to their name.

Curry is one to really keep an eye on as the Warriors' point guard won back-to-back MVP awards before Kevin Durant came to Golden State. With Durant out of town and Klay Thompson out for most, if not all, of the upcoming season, Curry may have to step up and bring back his former MVP self.

With so much movement this offseason, we will have to wait and see what pieces fit the best where and ultimately who steps up to take home this season's NBA MVP award.
