Former Colts Star Being Inducted to Team's Ring of Honor

The Indianapolis Colts weren't exactly known for their defense in the 2000s, instead featuring a legendary offense. They had some real stars on the defensive side of the ball, though.
One of those stars is being recognized today, as the team inducts Robert Mathis into the Colts Ring of Honor.

A five-time Pro Bowler, a first-team All-Pro selection and the AFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013, Mathis played his entire 14-year career with the Colts. He racked up at least 10.5 sacks five times, including in the 2013 season when he had a league-high 19.5. He also led the NFL in forced fumbles three times.
Mathis was a crucial part of the Colts' defense for their Super Bowl XLI victory, even forcing a fumble in that game.

Fans in Indy won't forget Mathis' contributions any time soon, and this is a very well-deserved honor for the long-time Colt.
