Week 13 of the 2021 NCAA college football season is here, which means that it's rivalry week. One of the more noteworthy games scheduled for this week is the annual Sunshine Showdown between the Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators.

At -148 odds, Florida is opening the week as FanDuel Sportsbook's favorite in the rivalry matchup. Meanwhile, Florida State's moneyline odds are currently +120. The Gators are also 2.5-point spread favorites with -118 odds to cover.

The 2021 season hasn't brought too much success to either team. Both the Seminoles and Gators enter Week 13 with matching 5-6 records, making it a fairly evenly matched contest.

In fact, Florida and Florida State have been evenly matched throughout their rivalry. The Gators only have a slight advantage in their head-to-head history, leading with a 36–26–2 record in 64 meetings.

There was a stretch from 2010 to 2017 where Florida State won seven of eight Sunshine Showdown games, however, Florida has won each of the last two.

The 2021 Sunshine Showdown goes down on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 12 p.m. EST and can be viewed on ESPN.
