Miami Palmetto Senior High School's Savion Collins is a big-time recruit for the 2021 class. The 4-star recruit is 247Sports' 20th-ranked defensive tackle for 2021, and he has decommitted from the University of Miami.

That makes him one of only four top-20 defensive tackles that isn't committed to a school right now, and the only one in the state of Florida.

The Florida Gators were heavily recruiting Collins previously, and some even thought he would flip to Florida in the summer.

The Gators' 2021 recruiting class is nearly full at this point, but they should still make a final push to try to bring Collins to The Swamp.

Florida's 2021 recruiting class only has two defensive tackles (3-star recruits Desmond Watson and Christopher Thomas), and adding the 6-foot-4, 290-pound Collins would give them a nice boost.
