Fantasy Football Week 3 Injury Report Creates Value for Nelson Agholor, LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore

Injuries have a massive impact on fantasy football. Just a few missed games can sink a player's value, while being useful in one game is typically enough for a fantasy owner to consider a waiver wire add.
Now in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL season, there are plenty of injury situations worth tracking, and these four, in particular, can have a major impact on fantasy this weekend.
1. DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery Injury News Helps Nelson Agholor
DeSean Jackson has already been ruled out for Week 3, and Alshon Jeffery is questionable after missing practice all week. That puts Nelson Agholor in position to be the Philadelphia Eagles' top WR on Sunday — a role in which he racked up eight receptions, 107 yards and one touchdown in after Jeffery and Jackson made early exits in Week 2. His teammates' injuries move Agholor up in our Week 3 fantasy football rankings, at No. 30 among WRs.
2. LeSean McCoy Set for Lead Back Role With Damien Williams Out
LeSean McCoy and Damien Williams were both looking questionable this week, but McCoy got in a full practice while Williams was ruled out on Friday. That leaves Shady as the team's clear-cut lead back for Sunday's meeting with the Baltimore Ravens, giving McCoy's fantasy value a huge boost, despite the tough matchup in Week 3. If McCoy does end up missing this game, Darwin Thompson then becomes a must-add off the waiver wire, with plenty of upside as the Chiefs' potential starter.
3. Devin Singletary Out Making Frank Gore Startable in Week 3
The Buffalo Bills have given Frank Gore significantly more work than rookie Devin Singletary, despite the difference in efficiency between the two. And this week, the Bills have no choice with Singletary was ruled out on Friday. Gore, who has already averaged 15.0 carries per game with Singletary healthy, is now firmly in play as a fantasy starter in a terrific matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Also consider this a boost for T.J. Yeldon, who will likely get more involved in the Bills' passing game, though he's still not worth considering outside of deep leagues.
4. Kyle Allen Sleeper Streaming QB Option With Cam Newton Out
Two of 2019's seven highest single-game quarterback fantasy scores have come from the two starting QBs that faced the Arizona Cardinals. Cam Newton was officially ruled out on Friday, giving Kyle Allen the next crack at the Cards. An undrafted free agent in 2018, Allen showed some potential in a small sample as a rookie, and while he likely won't be on the fantasy football radar beyond Week 3, this matchup makes him a viable deep sleeper streaming option, if you're hurting at the QB position.
