With the new PGA Tour season in full swing, PGA Tour pros are heading down to Hawai'i for the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.
Sentry Tournament of Champions Fantasy
Simply put, Justin Thomas has dominated this event in the past. Of his six career starters here, Thomas has finished in the top-three in four of them, which includes two wins. In the last three years at this event, Thomas has finished No. 3, No. 1 and No. 3, respectively. Thomas has also played great of late, finishing No. 5 and No. 3 in his two starts since the beginning of November. Combining those two factors, it's hard not to love Thomas' outlook this week.
Similar to Thomas, Schauffele has been fantastic at Kapalua and this event in his career. He's played here four times and finished in the top five all three of his last appearances. Schauffele won the event in 2019 and also did it again in 2020, but finished second. Schauffele has only played once since the start of last month and finished 12th against a similarly talented field at the Hero World Challenge.
Sungjae Im has only played here once, but walked away with an impressive No. 5 finish in 2021. His play so far this season should be even more encouraging, where in just four starts he has two top-10 finishes which includes a win. Additionally, Im ranks No. 7 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Around-The-Green this season, No. 3 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 7 in SG: Total.
