Evan Fournier is again on the league's health and safety protocols list and will miss Boston's game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.
Fournier's debut with the Celtics after being traded from the Orlando Magic was delayed while in the league's COVID protocols back in late March. Now the forward is back on the inactive list, and it remains to be seen just how much time he will miss.
The 28-year-old Frenchman was finally starting to make an impact with his new team after a pair of duds to start his Celtics career. Fournier is coming off a 23-point game in a win against the Rockets on Friday, followed up by a 17-point, 6-assist performance in a blowout of the Gordon Hayward-less Hornets on Sunday.
On the season, the sharp-shooting swingman is averaging 18.6 points and 2.8 triples a night on almost 40 percent shooting from behind the arc.
Aaron Nesmith may see an uptick here and is available in almost all fantasy leagues, but Fournier's absence doesn't really create an impact for anyone. Nesmith is dirt cheap at FanDuel, carrying a $3,500 price tag if you want to roll the dice, but buyer beware.
