The Philadelphia Eagles battled the elements and injury issues to earn a big win in Week 4. Philadelphia's secondary was already missing Avonte Maddox heading into Sunday's contest, but top conerback Darius Slay also left the game with a forearm injury and didn't return.

The updates on those two players after the win provided plenty of reason for concern.

Slay, who departed in the first quarter, was spotted with an air cast on his injured right forearm after the game. That's obviously not a great sign, though it's hard to draw conclusions from this soon after.

Maddox, meanwhile, had his own worrisome accessory after Sunday's game. He was seen wearing a boot on his injured right foot after sitting out the contest with an ankle issue.

It's possible Slay's cast and Maddox's boot are just signs of the Eagles' training staff being cautious with their defensive studs. Philadelphia would feel the absence if both are forced to miss any time simultaneously.

Health will be a huge story for the Eagles heading into Week 5 given the losses they suffered against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jordan Mailata, Isaac Seumalo, Patrick Johnson and Kyron Johnson all departed with their own injury problems on Sunday.

Hopefully Philadelphia is able to get healthy before taking on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. The Eagles have opened as slight 3.5-point favorites, according to NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
