The Los Angeles Dodgers are a team that has been knocking at the door to a World Series title for each of the last three years without being able to get over the hump. That certainly doesn't have the oddsmakers discouraged about their potential in 2020, though.

With that in mind, here's a full preview of the Dodgers' 2020 MLB season potential outcomes and projected achievements, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Dodgers Win Total

Under the assumption that each MLB team still plays the standard 162 regular-season games in 2020, the Dodgers were originally projected to win 98.5 games this season, with -116 odds on the over and -106 on the under. That 98.5-win mark is good enough for the second-highest total in baseball, behind only the New York Yankees (101.5).

Dodgers Odds to Win NL West

Unsurprisingly, the Dodgers are heavy favorites at -1000 odds to win the NL West crown for what would be the eighth consecutive season in 2020. Those -1000 odds reflect an implied probability of a 90.9 percent chance of Los Angeles winning the division this year.

Behind LA, the rest of the NL West contenders sit in this order: Arizona Diamondbacks (+950), San Diego Padres (+1100), Colorado Rockies (+5500) and San Francisco Giants (+15000).

Dodgers Odds to Win NL Pennant

The Dodgers also have the best odds to win the National League in 2020 as well, at +155. Those +155 odds reflect an implied probability of a 39.2 percent chance of LA winning the NLCS and advancing to the World Series.

Dodgers Odds to Win World Series

Keeping with this trend, LA is currently tied with the Yankees for the league's best odds to win the 2020 World Series at +380. Those +380 odds reflect an implied probability of a 20.8 percent chance of the Dodgers winning the World Series.
