There are good seasons and bad seasons in the NFL and 2020 has definitely been a bad season for the Houston Texans so far. The team has started 1-6 and is free falling completely out of the AFC playoff picture.

The Texans are led by fourth-year quarterback Deshaun Watson. It's worth being noted that Watson hasn't experienced losing this much thoughout his football career as he led the Clemson Tigers to a National Championship back in college and the Texans to the playoffs each of the past two seasons. He reflected on how it feels in a recent press conference.

Watson's bluntly honest response isn't something we hear everyday. Players tend to hold back and provide answers that they think the fans want to hear, but Watson simply told it how it is. He found a way to relate to the fans anyways as there's no Texans fan out there that doesn't feel the same way as Watson does.

Overall, Watson said the team goes out there every week trying to win games and is continuing to improve as the season moves on. The Texans head into their Week 8 bye with a lot of work to do and are back in action in Week 9 when they will go on the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South divisional matchup.
