Dalvin Cook looked in line for a promising game in Week 13, but the Minnesota Vikings lead back suffered a chest injury and was unable to return against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fortunately, it looks like Cook is going to be good to go for his team's Week 14 clash with the Detroit Lions.

While it looks like Cook will be able to suit up next week, his fantasy owners would be wise to pick up Alexander Mattison (owned in 31 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues) in in case Cook can't go.

The Vikings get a fantastic matchup against the Lions next week, and whoever serves as Minnesota's lead back will be in the RB1 conversation. Detroit has surrendered the 10th-most rushing yards per game (118.0), and the third-most PPR points per game (29.0) to opposing RBs.

If Cook can't go, Mattison, who racked up 73 yards from scrimmage on eight touches last night, would also be considered a strong play.

Assuming Cook plays, he's the RB2 in our Week 14 fantasy football PPR rankings, though Mattison would surge up those rankings if he's the lead back come Sunday.
