Dallas Goedert Injury Update Raises Week 8 Fantasy Outlook
By Larry Rupp

A Philadelphia Eagles' offense constantly searching for offensive weapons will receive a major boost this week as tight end Dallas Goedert was activated from the injured reserve (IR) and is set to return. Goedert has missed the past four games due to an ankle injury he suffered back in Week 3.
The Eagles are heading into a pivotal NFC East battle with the Dallas Cowboys this week and getting Goedert back only improves the offense. He could be in for a productive performance this week.
#Eagles will activate TE Dallas Goedert today, as @GeoffMosherNFL just tweeted. He surprised them to the upside and he's good to go.

Dallas Goedert Fantasy Outlook
Goedert immediately slides into starting tight end consideration in fantasy football leagues as he will be one of quarterback Carson Wentz' favorite targets moving forward. In fact, with starting tight end Zach Ertz set to miss multiple weeks, Goedert should be out on the field even more than usual.
In the two full games Goedert has played, he has shined hauling in a combined 12 receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown. His 17 targets through two weeks led the team and proved he is a force to be reckoned with among Eagles' playmakers.
Goedert draws a great matchup in Week 8 as the Cowboys give up the most points per game in the NFL (34.7). The Eagles should have no trouble moving the ball on offense and Goedert has been known to be a redzone threat scoring 5 touchdowns last year.
Goedert has TE1 potential across fantasy football formats both this week and moving forward. He could easily become one of the focal points on an Eagles' offense that is continuing to improve.
