The Los Angeles Clippers delivered one of the gutsiest performances of the season on Monday night. Facing elimination against the Phoenix Suns, Paul George and the Clips delivered a 116-102 victory on the road.

Los Angeles still has a ways to go, but the win has caused the Clips' NBA Finals odds to skyrocket, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Clippers NBA Finals Odds

Prior to Monday night, Los Angeles was listed at +3200 to hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy. But after the Game 5 victory, the Clippers are now available at +1100, trailing the Milwaukee Bucks (-115) and Suns (+145).

Of course, the Clips still have a long way to go if they want to cash that bet. LA trails Phoenix, 3-2, in the series and superstar Kawhi Leonard does not look particularly close to a return.

His absence will keep the pressure on George, who has been magnificent this postseason. The seven-time All-Star has scored at least 20 points in each of his 18 playoff appearances thus far, making him the fourth player in NBA history to accomplish that feat. The other three to do so are Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant.

Facing elimination once again on Wednesday night, George's ascendance makes the Clippers an intriguing dark-horse bet.

But if Kawhi can get healthy, this team would be a lot more than just intriguing.
