The official 2021 NFL schedule release on Wednesday clarified which teams will play when and who will be featured in the coveted primetime slots throughout the year. The Kansas City Chiefs will be a main feature on primetime appearances this season.

Chiefs Primetime Games

The Chiefs will play five games in primetime during the 2021-22 season. That is tied for the most primetime appearances across the league along with seven other teams.

Kansas City Chiefs Primetime Schedule

The Chiefs' primetime schedule for the 2021-22 season is as follows:

-Week 2: at Baltimore Ravens (Sept. 19)
-Week 5: vs Buffalo Bills (Oct. 10)
-Week 8: vs New York Giants (Nov. 1)
-Week 10: at Las Vegas Raiders (Nov. 14)
-Week 15: at Los Angeles Chargers (Dec. 16)

Here's what channels the Chiefs' primetime games will be on in 2021:

-Week 2: at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday Night Football, NBC)
-Week 5: vs Buffalo Bills (Sunday Night Football, NBC)

Kansas City will host the New York Giants in Week 8 on Monday Night Football.

Chiefs Sunday Night Football

The Chiefs have three Sunday Night Football appearances in 2021: on the road against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, hosting the Buffalo Bills in Week 5 and at the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10.
